Dr. Babak Razagh

Dr. Raz is a graduate from Dalhousie University’s Doctor of Dental Surgery program and has been living in Halifax for almost 12 years.  He has a great passion for research and prior to starting his dental career, Dr. Raz did a Master’s degree in Microbiology & Immunology with a focus on cancer biology.  Dr. Raz has multiple awards and publications in his resume.  He believes that becoming a dentist has been one of the best and most rewarding decisions in his life and he is committed to providing high quality dental treatment for all his patients in the same manner he does for his family.

Dr. Raz is a part-time faculty member and instructor at Dalhousie Faculty of Dentistry and he believes that building trust and being truthful are inevitable requirements for a successful dentist.  He enjoys all aspects of dentistry and has special interests in endodontics, restorative, and implant dentistry.  He looks forward to developing personal relationships with all of his patients.  When he is not at the office or dental school, Dr. Raz is usually spending time with his wife, friends, and family.  He enjoys skiing, playing tennis, photography, and hiking.  Dr. Raz and his wife, Sahar, love to travel and explore new places, which gives them the opportunity to learn more about new things, create new memories, and to remind themselves that they should enjoy every moment of this amazing life.
